Great location near USM. Affordable price for young couples. Parking space available. CCTV surveillance for security. Owned restaurant and praying room. Convenient to local food court. Near the old Penang Bridge. Friendly and helpful staff
Nothing that I didn't like.

There was not even a "Hello" or "Welcome" from the staff... Coming straight from Thailand I felt the difference immediately. Very negative. The bathroom have no sink! The toilet seat broken! For this price it is one of the worst hotel I have stayed in in all my travelling years...! Not recommended for foreigners at all. I immediately checked out the next day to move to a different hotel in town.

The bathroom is fairly decent.
Electricity was cut off in the middle of night. Replacement rooms were awful.

The location of this hotel was convenient for my weekend plans. It was close to some great food options and had easy access to public transport. The staff were friendly and the car park was sufficient.
The room was basic and lacked some necessary amenities. The bed was very hard and the noise level from inside and outside the hotel was disruptive to my sleep. Additionally, the lack of facilities like a proper car park and limited room size made my stay less comfortable.

I was booked & confirmed for rm137++ for 2 nights for 1 room. However on arrival was given a rm120 per night room Changed to a different room 2nd night The staff commented that booking on line offer is different from actual pricing! My daughter Asyuaraa Sukmarsari was really disappointed

Very quiet with beautiful & clean enviroment.
Poor drainage with terrible stench. The sink in the room was clogged. Needs proper maintenance & upkeep.

Room was lovely new and mint condition One huge cocroach in our room running around the place freaked my gf out!! The staff got rid of it- we paid £20 a night overpriced I think and in the ghetto- outside georgetown(which was awful) Felt unsafe at night and during the day was fine but really ghetto place but nice hotel- there is 2 angerik- one is lodging which is awful looks like a concentration camp inside!! Dont stay there stay at the hotel- its 100rm a night. We booked last minute and will never go bak there but due to travelling round we chanced our arm last minute. Book somewhere else but the hotels rooms here are practically bran new- Gem in the rough!!!

Came for Penang Bridge Marathon. This place is chosen only because of its location is close to Queensbay Mall and all other closer lodgings are fully booked.
There are no water heater in the room. The private shower does not have basin, or toilet. Its just 1m x 1m closed area for shower and for water to drain out. If you want to use toilet, you will need to go to the public toilet. There are large gaps on the door & windows. Therefore mosquitoes can come in. Noises from the corridor are clearly heard and loud and we couldn't get good rest.

Good for bag-packers or budgeted tour
They cancelled our booking because we booked without credit card and we did not followup. When we reached there, they told us that no rooms are available and we have to walk on roads with family and bags, however after 300 meters, they adjust us in another hotel , which we have to leave next morning. But overall this hotel is not suitable for families or who need comfort.

As I did mentioned that I have stay previously , as this is my second time I am staying there foir the following reasons- the room rate is cheap but the room condition is very terrible . 1. the room that I had was No.5 but the shower do not work , worse till that the flush system is NOT WORKING AT ALL , JUST IMAGINE WHAT YOU HAVE DUMP IN , THE RETURN START TO OVERLOW , EH YAK ,mo kow chor le , 2.We change the room to no.2 , the shower sytem is ok but still leaking water , so just imagine the water cost, maybe the penang water if FOC.The ceiling fan has no control , as it keep going ONE SPEED , why ? the control knop is rosak le. 3.Stay for two days , again the room was not clean when we came back in the evening.. 4.The hotel is nice but maybe someone is really sleeping on the job, as not proper spot check on the rooms , what need to repair , what correctivre action to take . 4.mAY BE THERE IS NO HOTREL MANAGER LE .i also notice it is short of manpower as well .it is a real pity to have such as nice hotel but lack proper mainternance or manpwer planning -who do what , who follow up / make a real study on how to promote this hotel to attract more customer . Lastly my comments given here -is there any real corrective action to be taken , or we write tis comments for FUN ONLY KA. WHAT SAY YOU -BOOKING .COM.
Room service is bad, room condition is bad but the staff are friendly .

Stay 3 nights from 6/sept to 9 /sept , the location and amosphere is excellent but sad toi say that the room service is not that good , I do come from the hospitality line as well , my bed sheet was not change daily , the water tap is leaking water which I think the maintenance staff is not doing the regular spot checking or the management is not having a daily spot check on how to seek to improve the facilities as most of the guests want a nice and cozy place to relax, I really like the place but sad no one care to seek to improve it. My future trip to penang which I will defintely stay there , the staff are very friendly , especially en.sidek make my stay a wonderful one , he is very helpful, hope I get hisa name right , ther chubby guy with the cute moustache . I can say this hotel can really improve as I do act as a adviser for the budget hotel . any way , really a nice hotel to relax and local foods is rally plentiful around the hotel.. Keep it up & sure this hotel will be good for the money to stay .I will stay again maybe in november or december this year. Investment in this hotel will definitely a plus sign & gain for the management & a happy staff .hope my comments may not be too hard , if soi, my apologies as my comments is for improvement .
No food available at the coffee house where I find it so nice and cozy, why waste such a nice place , cook up something to bring revenue to the satisfaction of ther guests as well for the cafeteria, perhap , you can recommend a simple basic nasi lemak , with tea or coffee & bread added in as value for money to attract more guest , theyt only serve drink . you have a nice & cozy coffee house , expand for more business oportunities as who knows, the guests dont mind if you serve basic local dishes such as curry mee, fried mee or keow teow , etc , you need to employ a simple cook can do basic cooking will do-commis 2 or 1 . . thanks , hope my coments is usefull for you.No hard feeling . my comments is too improve .I am also a hotel guy .
